Shannon Pettit, LCSW, CCS gained her master's degree in social work from the University of Maine in 2007 and has been practicing with diverse populations since, providing therapy and counseling services in the greater Bangor area. Shannon started in the field working in a residential placement for adolescents who had co-occurring diagnoses as a direct support professional in 2003. After graduating with her master's degree, worked with children and families as a Home and Community Based Treatment therapist (HCT). In 2011, moved into a school-based position with elementary, middle, and high school students. Then, in 2018, moved into working with adults with mental health and substance use disorders.
